What adventurers are saying...

I heard about Heather and her retreat about 10 days before we went and I just knew I had to go. I am SO glad I trusted my inner voice because it was a transformational weekend. I never expected 2 1/2 days to provide more relaxation and healing than a 2 week vacation! I learned some new yoga techniques. I met so many loving, caring women from all walks of life who come together for the peace and personal journey that yoga and hiking provide. Heather’s cooking is amazing and every meal was made with intention and love. Thank you Heather for following your path. Being with you makes me want to treat my “SELF” better. I didn’t know you well but I feel I know you now. THANK YOU! I came home refreshed, rested and at peace. I can’t wait for your next journey. Sign me up:) xo

The Red River Gorge Yoga, Hiking & Food Retreat was amazing and exceeded my expectations! This three day, two night exciting adventure is intricately woven to connect each individual with their Mind, Body, Spirit and Senses as well as with the collective energy of the group of 22. The mornings begin with a group yoga session followed by a healthy breakfast. The day is open to an assortment of hikes ranging from 5, 8 or 13 plus miles throughout the scenic beauty of Red River Gorge or one can stay behind and enjoy the beautiful cozy cabins to relax while enjoying the view or take in a massage. Early evening begins with a yoga session followed by a healthy dinner, followed by the group sitting around an open fire pit reminiscing over the day’s activities. Our group came for various reasons, from varied backgrounds, ages, passions and included both ends of the spectrums of beginner hikers / yoga students to advance level of passion. No matter what level an individual brought to the retreat, the collective energy of the group fully embraced and supported each individual. Namaste!

Heather’s retreats are the best combination of beautiful surroundings, people, yoga and food. Everyone of the four I have attended has renewed and refreshed me body and soul. I simply love the hiking, restorative yoga, yummy healthy food, and the friendships made. Heather is a thoughtful, well organized and generous retreat leader. I give her the highest recommendations. These retreats are an absolute answer to the prayers of anyone who loves the great out doors and prefers comfortable lodging and a shared experience. I try not to miss a one!
